Toby Jugs

Toby Jugs and Toby Mugs appeared in the catalogs between 1974 and 1980. There were 5 variations in shape/size, and 4 production colours. The size/shape combinations were given a name as well as a pattern id.

Thanks to Vidfletch (David Fletcher) for solving the mystery of this Toby Jug:
"It is Italian. There was a company in the USA called Norleans, which I presume means they were in New Orleans! They appear to have been an importer of china and glass. I have come across the same toby jugs with the "Norleans Made in Italy" sticker. I have also found japanese ceramics and porcelain figures with "Norleans Made in Japan" stickers!"
