Small slab vase (or Spots, or Mobile phone, or Marbles or nipple slabs) (pattern 9670, 6.5" high)

This is one of my favourite shapes. The colours look especially nice in this shape.

Full Lead Crystal Colours

A few colours used for the textured pieces included 'Full lead crystal' rather than the 'cased' (cased in clear glass) colours. These included FLC Amber (or Gold), FLC Aqua, Flint (totally clear crystal) and Sky Blue.

FLC Gold Coffin vase

More on Coffin vases (pattern 9686, 5 1/8" high)

The coffin vase is very common, but quite rare in some colours such as sage and lilac.

Larger dimple vases (pattern 9809, 6.5" high)

The 'dimple' type vase actually comes in a variety of width and heights. This example is 6.5" high by 3.5" wide.

Aubergine

Traffic light (pattern 9760, 5" high)

This is a small vase which is not so common. Shown in the second picture along with a couple of vases which are still available to bargain hunters (small greek key pattern 9815, 4.25" high and Long-neck bottle pattern 9818, 7" high).

Later textured vases

These vases can still be found at regular antique fairs at affordable prices, but are becoming less so lately.

The first picture shows a nice flared vase which comes in two sizes (patterns 9830 and 9831 at 8" and 6.5" high respectively). The 8" version is uncommon, and is significantly heavier than the 6.5" version.

The second picture shows some other flared vases (pattern 9834, 7" high).

Another mixed group

From left to right, Hourglasses (pattern 9836, 6" high), Zigzags (pattern 9761, 6" high) and a Double-diamond (pattern 9759, 6" high).

Large and Medium Slabs

The Large Slab came in two designs (originally it was to be three, with the mobile phone being the same size as these).

Hobnail Large Slab (pattern 9668, 10.5" high).

Basket-weave Large Slab (pattern 9667, 10.5" high).

The medium slab has a bamboo pattern on the front (pattern 9669, 8" high).

Waisted vase

This shape is a nice example of a very large piece (13" high).
